Year 10 enjoyed a weekend of glorious weather for their Bronze DofE practice expedition. They completed a 2 day walk of 26km from Newton to Bolton By Bowland and back, carrying all their kit and facing the challenge of being self sufficient, cooking their own meals, and camping overnight. A glorious evening allowed for simple pleasures of playing rounders, making hot chocolate and stargazing! All pupils rose to the challenge brilliantly and are now ready for their assessed expedition which will take place in the Yorkshire Dales in June.
