In June 2023, the Business students were encouraged to apply for the Idea Accelerator Event hosted by NatWest CareerSense. The program is designed to build confidence and improve capabilities of future entrepreneurs. In October Ellie was selected to attend the event at NatWest House in Manchester, with three others of her classmates.

Fast forward to January 2024, Ellie was invited to attend the final of The Future Leaders Project, which was held on 8th March. Ellie competed alongside 50 other students from across the UK practising, delivering, and giving feedback on entrepreneurial pitches. I am delighted to report that Ellie won the event and declared “Winner of The Future Leaders of the Year Competition 2024!”.  We are very proud of Ellie’s achievements and wish her the very best this year working alongside her business mentor.
