At Oakhill, we make field trips a core part of the Geography curriculum for every year group. The field work is designed to bring classroom learning into focus and to test our understanding in the real world. This year our summer field trips have been:
Year 7- an assessment of services for residents in Whalley
Year 8- a visit to Malham to look at the management of tourism and limestone features

Year 9- an evaluation of the ecosystem at Beacon Fell
Year 10- a study of the River Wharfe and the village of Kettlewell
On all trips, students have been outstanding and a pleasure to take. We hope they continue to build their love of the outdoors, their understanding of the beautiful world we live in and the challenges we face in keeping it that way
